Subspec enters its sixth year and kicking off 2018 in style with this killer rework of JGarrett's 'Tin & Titanium' EP featuring diverse perspectives on the originals. Advanced (Black)'s Abyssal Chaos cuts right to the chase in his fantastic reshape on 'Tin' turning up the darkness and honing the groove to a razor sharp sheen. RF Recordings' chief Rennie Foster takes 'Titanium' back to school in straight-up Jacktown. Splitting the lane between JGarrett's thick industrial groove from the original and Rennie's signature far, far Westside Detroit sound, this is a cut that will find a home in sets with the original jacker and the propulsive banger crowds. Countered delivers a version of 'Nickel' that should be called Dime or Quarter... it takes the original and goes so much bigger... no shrinking violet opening track here. The EP closes out with 'Tin (Edit)' focused around the main polyrhythmic groove of the original and optimizing the supply chain for full force delivery of heavy grooving.
