Subspec's follow up to Jay Zoney's 'Near Future' sees "The Meltdown" from that release put through the works by Keef Baker's OCDC and JGarrett. JGarrett strips down Jay Zoney's original to a slick minimalist vibe that whips up into an insistent acid frenzy. Keef Baker, of n5MD fame, debuts his new OCDC project buy teasing out intricate grooves amid the building fury of the original. A DJ tool version of JGarrett's track is included which jettisons the acid lines in favor of the deep bass that underpins the track.
