Berlin-based artist VNC1 makes his debut on Subspec with three heat seeking original tracks aimed squarely at the heart of the headiest dance floors. Across all three tracks, tight bass slides between crisp percussion and stabs to drive home the pure Techno payload. VNC1's restrained use of melodic elements brings another dimension and a touch of warmth to his abstract grooves.

Cosmopolitan is a thoroughly modern take on a classic warehouse sound. Phase 1 is all about infectious polyrhythms. The originals close out with perfectly titled Oblivion... this is deep, end-of-the-night business.

Legendary Amsterdam/Detroit ambassador Orlando Voorn delivers a tweaked out remix of Cosmopolitan that tears the original down to its base components and assembles them into a new, off-center beast.

Oblivion's paranoid angles come to the front in JGarrett's hands as he turns up the tension and release.
